Kindergarten
Maarif Kindergarten is a private preschool institution that deals with upbringing and education of children, from one-year-olds until they start school. Our Kindergarten provides proper growing up in a safe surrounding and development of pre-school children. The programme in our Institution is based on the fact that children learn independently, and is designed for their optimal development. Every child is encouraged to choose activities according to his or her own interests and abilities. Our aim is to help children develop at their own pace.
We monitor the development of every child, and consequently, we adjust activities, material and work plan on a daily basis. Every child is carefully monitored and directed to a corner for which he or she shows interest. Our monthly and weekly projects follow our curriculum.We also create creative workshops with children daily. Besides, there is a preparatory programme before they start school. Each educational area is interconnected and involves the use of all senses, and contains self-control of error.
We do our best to help every child make progress and build through the following developmental stages: cognitive development, development of social skills, emotional development, speech development, and motor development. In addition to regular daily activities we also have specialised activities: Art education, Music education, English, Turkish and Religion. The Kindergarten has a large space both in its interior and outside. In addition to the classrooms, we also have a large room intended only for playing, dining rooms for meals, dormitories and a park located in front of the Kindergarten.
The classrooms are equipped with modern toys and materials, adapted to each age group. The diet in our Kindergarten is based on fresh food and here children are offered a healthy meal with fresh seasonal fruit every day. Our expert team works hard every day to bring innovative and creative ideas to help children develop their creativity, logical and critical thinking.
The obligation, responsibility and role of our educators is to support the development of the full potential of each child, starting from his developmental level, interests and needs. Educators develop plans and programmes that stimulate the game and actively engage. They make children feel secure and accepted, helping children develop self-confidence, self-management and independence, but at the same time analyse their own work, developing their professional competencies.
The professional team of our Institution develops partnership with families, and adheres to the code of ethics of the profession, working for the best interests of every child, encourages professional relations with colleagues and the principal, and therefore contributes to the development of preschool institutions and the profession as a whole. Our goal is a happy and satisfied child, as well as a proud and satisfied parent.
